A farewell to one of London's intimate theatres by Dame Sybil Thorndike
The Little Theatre was opened in 1910 under Gertrude Kingston's management. It was damaged in the first world war, but re-opened in 1920. Further damage was done during the recent war, and it has since been decided to pull down the theatre. (The recorded broadcast of Nov. 13)
