Since the war, Sweden's wealth and strength has been envied by many but equalled by few. Now though, there are signs that the traditional Swedish emphasis on hard work and material values is changing. After the recent General Election, Doreen Taylor went to Stockholm and Gothenburg and found that the new emphasis Is on democracy in industry, greatly increased leisure time. and true equality of the sexes.
