International Ice Skating

The Rotary Watches Ice International from Richmond. Top-class skaters from seven countries including the Soviet Union, Canada, Japan and Great Britain compete in this major international competition.
Tonight most of the competitors will be making their first appearance in a season that culminates in the Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid next February. All eyes will be on ROBIN COUSINS as he starts off on the path that hopefully leads to Olympic Gold, and Japanese girl EMI WATANABE , bronze medallist at the 1979 World Championships, will be expected to delight the crowd.
