Poppy Nongena , the account of a black Afrikaans-speaking woman's attempt to protect her children during the Cape Town riots, and for Dalene Matthee , Circles in a Forest, a novel which described the particular beauties of the Knysna Forest and the strange family of "Royals" who believe they are related to King George III.
