Written by A. Scott Kennedy
Produced by R. F. Dunnett
This programme, coming at the beginning of the trout fishing season, will survey some of the better-known lochs and rivers in Scotland, give hints to the inexperienced,- and perhaps remind the expert of the pleasures the season holds, recalling the delights of the riverside and its song and story.
A. Scott Kennedy , who has written the programme, is well known to listeners for his talks on the country-side, some of which were broadcast last summer in the series ' Out to Play'. '. He has a fund of amusing stories about fishing characters, in addition is an expert who can give practical hints on such important matters as the best flies for use in different localities and where good pools and streams are to be found.
