Taken prisoner in Indo-China in 1954, Lt-Col Raspeguy and the survivors of the French paratroop regiment he commands are repatriated after the armistice-only to find that the regiment has been disbanded and Raspeguy relieved of all command. But when hostilities break out in Algeria, he finds himself and his unorthodox military methods once more in demand.
Anthony Quinn heads a strong international cast in this action-packed drama set in North Africa.
