Pauk Trio
The piano trio of Peter Frankl , Gyorgy Pauk and Ralph Kirshbaum celebrated their silver jubilee last year and have recorded for the BBC since the very first year of their existence. Gordon Stewart talks to the players and introduces performances they gave in the early seventies. The programme begins with Schumann's Piano Trio No 2 in F, Op 80, and ends with Dvorak's Piano Trio No 3 in F minor, Op 65. Between them come variations by Beethoven and Schubert's Notturno in E flat, D897. Repeat
