Magic Slim followed a well-trodden path to Chicago to play music in the city's
Southside clubs. His music personifies raw, no-frills authentic Chicago blues. Jools Holland , former member of Squeeze and accomplished blues and boogie pianist, plays tonight with his recently formed big band. And, to mark this special programme, the whole show is being turned into a listeners' competition. Producer Dave Shannon
