Alasdair Nicolson 's Dansmusik and Nigel Osborne 's Violin Concerto with Ernst Kovacic as the soloist. Osborne's former students are represented by Karen Francis 's Adhesive Retrospection and Selena Kay 's Snakes & Ladders, here receiving its world premiere. There's also the world premiere of a BBC commission, Malcolm Hayes ' Stabat Mater , with soloists soprano Alwyn Mellor and mezzo Emma Selway. Plus a survey of recent Scottish electronic music, including soundscapes by John Levack Dreverand GreggWagstaff.
