Nine documentary programmes 8: Buns, Boats and Bombs
In a colony where the unexpected is the norm, anything from a ' bomb scare ' to a ' snake call ' is routine. But a small boat fire in a crowded typhoon shelter becomes a nightmare for Marine Police. At the bun festival on Cheung Chau Island, anti-riot squads wait anxiously. It's no secret that this is the day when rival Triad gangs parade openly. From past experience when the midnight scramble begins ... so will the trouble.
