The Finals.
In the second of two concerts from Leeds
Town Hall, the three remaining finalists play their choice of concerto with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, conductor Simon Rattle , to decide the winner of the coveted Edward Boyle Prize and the Princess Mary Gold Medal. Introduced by Michael Berkeley , with expert comment from Paul Crossley. Following the jury's deliberations, the result will be announced on BBC2 at 11.00pm and on Radio 3 at 12.30am (after the Gil Evans concert).
