THE FALLING SICKNESS

on BBC Home Service Basic

View in Radio Times

by Wyn Knowles
Narrated by Duncan Mclntyre
One in two hundred people suffer from some form of epilepsy. Medical treatment can do much to control their seizures, but epileptics-most of whom are normal in between attacks-have to face many problems at school, at work, and in their homes, largely due to other people misunderstanding.
The programme includes recordings of people who are mastering this disability, and those who are helping them to do so. Produced by Eileen Capel
(The recorded broadcast of May 3)
