Film 89 with Barry Norman

on BBC One London

"Cookie" is the first film Emily Lloyd has made since her highly-praised debut in "Wish You Were Here". As Cookie, she has to adopt an American accent, and acts opposite Columbo himself, Peter Falk.
On location in deepest Twickenham: Willy Russell's "Shirley Valentine" has been a smash success on both the London and Broadway stage, starring Pauline Collins, and she was the obvious choice to recreate the character for the big screen. Director Lewis Gilbert ("Alfie", "Educating Rita", and Bond) explains why she is perfect for the part.
And "Henry V", the eagerly awaited re-make from Kenneth Branagh, puts
Shakespeare in a new light.
