Adventure: Balloon from Zanzibar

In 1862 Jules Verne published his Five Weeks in a Balloon, describing a fictitious air-journey from Zanzibar to Senegal.
A hundred years later, Anthony Smith and Douglas Botting flew by balloon from Zanzibar across the sea channel to the mainland of Africa. In this, the balloonists were forced to make a crash landing in the African bush.
