Special Awards Presentation David Dimbleby hosts this special live awards programme from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. With nationwide contributions to celebrate achievements within cities and communities.
HRH The Prince of Wales, who launched the competition last November, describes It's My City! as a theme at the heart of Britain and speaks of his hopes for the future.
Among the awards presented are those for Performing and Visual Arts, Environment, Employment, Sports and the Radio 1 Award.
