A series of five programmes

For six months Det Chief Insp Brian Ward and his men from the Reading Office of No. 5 Regional Crime Squad, have taken evidence in secret from armed robbers turned supergrass against the network of top London gangs.

Now they are ready to arrest 30 of their 'targets' in a series of simultaneous dawn raids across southern England. Hundreds of extra officers are brought in to make the mass arrests. For the success of the operation it is vital that none of the 'targets' escape the net, giving them a chance to warn the others.
