Classic Albums: Fleetwood Mac: Rumours

on BBC One London

Concluding the series of programmes examining some of rock music's classic albums.

Released in 1977, Rumours has sold in excess of 25 million copies and is still the fourth largest-selling album ever. The LP was recorded when Fleetwood Mac were on a musical high, but enduring a personal low. The two couples within the group - Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham and Christine and John McVie - were splitting up. The programme features interviews with the five band members and footage of the group playing live in concert.
