Music in Our Time returns in a new regular Sunday night slot with the first of two programmes commemorating the work of John Cage , who died last month. David Revill introduces a recording of a Frankfurt concert scheduled to mark Cage's 80th birthday, including the world premieres of three new pieces -
Twenty-eight, Twenty-six and Twenty-nine - as well as the American bicentennial pieces Renga and Apartment House 1776. Saar RSO/Hans Zender with soloists Jeanne Lee, Helen Schmeyer, Nico Castel, Matoaka Little Eagle and Powhatan Swift Eagle. Producer Andrew Kurowski
