by Julian Huxley and James Fisher
Ten years ago Julian Huxley and James Fisher took part in a census of all the breeding gannets in the North Atlantic. Last summer it was decided to repeat the investigation and they went to Iceland, where there is now a detectable trend towards a warmer climate. Probably because of this, there have been remarkable changes in the distribution of birds. In this talk the speakers describe their observations and give an impression of the country through which they passed.
