MANSFIELD TOWN
A sketch of the Club's history, policy and players, past and present, given by E. A. EDEN G. ANNABLE
ERNEST HART H. CHAMBERS
This broadcast was postponed from December 9, when, owing to a widespread fog in the Midlands, the Mansfield chairman and captain could not get to the Birmingham studios in time. Since then, the first captain of Mansfield has been also engaged to tell of old times. He is Harry Chambers , now Rector of Markfield, in Charnwood Forest. In the late 'seventies and 'eighties he helped to start no fewer than seven football clubs.
