Engaged again. The following day Peter apologised to Bob. Gerda Peterson, the doctor's secretary, was taken ill. Dr. Dale suggested Mrs. Dale should take her place. Miriam decided to take a house near Park-wood Hill befoie she visited Canada. While Alec and Mrs. Freeman were looking over a house, Sally arrived and said Tony Coppard knew of a house which might suit them. The two orchids which Mrs. Freeman had been tending for Mrs. Dale began to wilt, so she decided to put two new ones in their place.
