Michael Berkeley 's guest is the anthropologist Hugh Brody , whose books include The People's Land, Living Arctic,
Maps and Dreams, and most recently The Other Side of Eden, an exploration of the mysteries of language and culture, based on his experiences in the Arctic Circle. His musical choices range from traditional I nuit throat singing to chamber works by Beethoven, a Bach violin concerto, part of Mozart's Requiem, and songs by Leonard Cohen and Tom Lehrer.
