Handel in London
This week sees Handel's London home in Brook Street reopened as a museum.
Tonight's concert, recorded in his nearby parish church, St George's, Hanover
Square, features some of the music from his earliest years in England, written while he was employed by the wealthy Duke of Chandos at Cannons in Middlesex.
