The Mimosa Boys

on BBC One London

by EWART ALEXANDER
1982. The Welsh Guards are ordered to the Falklands, and for four young Guardsmen the prospect of 'a cruise to the South Atlantic on the QE2' is exciting. Their families have mixed feelings. As the journey progresses and the reality of war comes closer, the bonds between the young soldiers are developed and tested.
At home the families follow
'the news' while the four sons wait aboard the Sir Galahad near Bluff Cove.
