Bad weather has driven Mr. and Mrs. Quest back from their holiday motor tour a day earlier than they expected. At about 10.30 p.m. they are standing outside the front door of their charming, but somewhat isolated, country bungalow, in the rain. Jim carries a luncheon basket, and his wife is laden with luggage, rugs, etc. Jim is the first to speak.
