To many children, experience of family life has meant only fear, tragedy or violence. This special edition of Everyman explores what the concept of "family" means to children who have never known one.
Adoption these days does not only Involve babies. The film looks at the lives of three young boys, aged from 9 to 11, who are waiting to be adopted.
