In 1910, young Ben Harvey leaves his small home town to seek his fortune in Chicago. When his wallet is stolen he faces starvation, but is saved by the kindness of a lady. What hayseed Ben does not realise is that his benefactress is the notorious ' madame' Queen Lil!
