An elaborate plan to hijack a 747 jumbo jet carrying a cargo of art treasures goes smoothly into action. Having gained control of the aircraft the hijackers fly low but when an off-shore oil platform looms up out of the darkness, there is no time to avoid a collision ... Passengers in the stricken aeroplane are faced with a nightmare and must find their own means of escape in this spectacular disaster film.
