Vera White ; Winnie Carwood
Introduced by Harry S. Pepper
It is some eight years now since the Dazzle Cabaret came into being. This was at a time when there was a great deal of talk about anti-dazzle in respect of motor car headlights and the title of the show, suggested at the time, has stuck ever since. ' Dazzle' has appeared at Bexhill-on-Sea where it was run by Will Pepper, and, after his death, by his sons Harry and Dick.
Eric Ross of the Dazzle Company remained for four summer seasons at Bexhill, and afterwards appeared successfully at Sandown, Worthing, Littlehampton, and Bognor Regis. Ida Williams and Eric Ross have broadcast many times with their double turn at the piano, and were often heard in the early days from Savoy Hill. John Lovering has been in the party for the past five or six years. The four Dazzle Girls, Gordon Freeman , and Betty Robb have been with ' Dazzle ' for the past two seasons. The only newcomer to the show is Bradley Harris who appears for the first time at the London microphone.
