Music Restored: Bach Voices

Lucie Skeaping and singer James Bowman look back over 70 years of recordings of performances of Bach's vocal music and reflect on how things have changed. The programme includes choruses and arias from the St Matthew Passion and the Mass in B minor, conducted by Willem Mengelberg, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Nikolas Harnoncourt, and cantatas directed by Joshua Rifkin and Maasaki Suzuki.
