5-The Briton at Work
There are more than twenty-three million men and women at work in Britain today, from business executives to machine operatives, from artists to office boys. Contributors to this programme come from mining, shipbuilding, gauge and tool making, the textile and pottery industries, from the workshops of the silver-smith and the cabinet-maker and represent the tradition of craftsmanship which is so important a part of the British heritage
