by WILLIAM TREVOR
Silver Award for Drama - 1982 International Film and Television Festival of New York
This film of William Trevor 's celebrated story was first shown to great acclaim in both Britain and Ireland last autumn. The ballroom is a battered crossroads hut and the romance has been eluding Bridie for a long time.
