Wildlife Safari to Ethiopia: 6: The High Simien

on BBC One London

Introduced by Jeffery Boswall

The expedition sets out for its final objective: Ras Degen, 15,158 feet above the sea. The peaks of the High Simien are one of the world's great natural wonders.
The endangered Walia Ibex, filmed for the first time, is found here and nowhere else in the world. The Simien Fox and Gelada Baboon are other unique Ethiopian highland mammals. Within a few years, however, Simien will be ruined unless urgent action is taken.
