DURING the last week Mr. Geoffrey Boumphrey has made a circuitous journey of Wales.
Along the Usk Valley, through Usk and Abergavenny to Brecon ; then west to Llandovery, north-west to Lampeter, and due north to Aberystwyth in Cardigan Bay. Thence along the coast to Aberdovey, up the mouth of the Dovey to Pennal ; due north to Dolgelly and on to Cymmer Abbey, by Llaneltyd. Ffestiniog, through the Snowdon country to Bettwys-y-Coed ; then north again through Llanrwyst to Conway town, where the curfew is still rung and situated on the river of its name running into the Irish Sea.
Mr. Boumphrey again followed the coast to Abergele, dropped south-east to Asaph, and pushed on as far as possible towards Chester.
