Tonight Sybil Stanford , so well known in revue and variety, is to give her first broadcast from London, but her voice has often been relayed from the Argyle Theatre, Birkenhead.
This is Collinson and Dean's last broadcast before they go into Aladdin at the Prince of Wales' Theatre, Birmingham, in which they are to play Chinese policemen. Part of the pantomime is to be relayed after Christmas and it is hoped that their famous schoolroom song will be included.
Belle Baker is one of America's leading comediennes. She is over here on a visit, and showed us what she can do by her broadcast in ' Entertainment Hour ' last week. The Houston Sisters you all know. They added to their laurels at the Radio Exhibition at Belfast.
Horace Kenney has been making thousands laugh in the provinces by his impersonation of Peter Doody in The Arcadians. He is featured this week in ' People You Hear ' on page 722.
