Finlay has taken up a temporary appointment in a London Clinic - a month to see if he suits and vice versa.
As the days go by, Finlay finds himself respecting Dr. Maddock, the owner, not only as a doctor but as a man, and in the main things run pretty smoothly until Finlay disagrees with the treatment of a patient who seems to be in a state of physical and mental decay.
