Time Capsule

on BBC Radio 4 FM

Next Wednesday a 'time capsule' will be buried in the grounds of Castle Howard as part of the celebrations to mark the 60th birthday of the BBC. Lord Swann, FRS, introduces the views of members of his committee which have been selecting the contents of the time capsule, and some of their assumptions about what kind of society will exist when it is recommended that the capsule is opened 2,000 years from now.
