A Yard of Sun
A Summer Comedy by CHRISTOPHER FRY
I could stay and talk all night, About what we are, to ourselves and to each other,
What things destroy us and what things create -
They are better guides than any rule-book,
Though as intricate as a meeting of waters.
This is the second of Fry's 'seasonal' plays ihis Spring play. The Lady's Not for Burning, was broadcast at Easter). A Yard of Sun is set in a court-yard in Italy just after the end of the 1939-45 war.
