' St. Patrick'
HUGH CHESTERMAN
This afternoon you will hear about a great and good man who devoted nearly all, his life to spreading the Gospel among the Irish people.
It was as a result of being captured in* a raid while still a youth, and carried over to Ireland that Saint Patrick first saw the Irish people, and it was also as a result of this experience that he decided, after his escape, to return to Ireland.
The broadcast will tell you about the wild Irish of those times, and their heathen beliefs, and about some of Saint Patrick's adventures in the course of his mission of conversion.
