1975 was a year which also produced a double World Champion in swimmer David Wilkie ; our Speedway riders retained the world team title; Britain's girls kept the Wightman Cup; Alan Taylor was West Ham's Cup Final hero; Muhammad AH fought the greatest fight of his life; and several famous names finally retired from their sport.
