View in Radio Times

This show hails from Germany, where it was specially written for the radio. In' carrying out the adaptation for an English audience, Selwyn Jepson , the. well-known novelist, short story and film scenario writer, makes his début in the field of broadcasting. Another notable feature is that Greta Keller -she came over from America specially to fulfil this engagement-and Ronald Hill both play roles that they fill in real life: one is a Continental cabaret star and the other is a composer. Hindle Edgar is a popular artist in the provinces, and is known to listeners for his work with the Air-do-Wells ; the composer of the music, Wilhelm Grosz , is well known in this country for his ' Isle of Capri'.
