Sir JOHN RUSSELL , F.R.S. : ' The Cow and Milk
These talks, planned by Sir John Russell in collaboration with Dr. B. A. Keen , will deal first with the products of this country-milk, meat, grains, fruit, vegetables-and then with those imported from overseas. In the present term, attention is being concentrated mainly on dairy farming and dairy products. The talks are designed for both country and town schools, and, Without going into economic theories, will provide a vivid picture of the way the community gets its food. The special illustrated pamphlet, Science and Agriculture,' obtainable from the Publications Department, B.B.C., London, W.I, price 2d., less a discount of twenty-five per cent. to schools and local education authorities, is a very useful companion to these talks.
