Sportsnight: Liverpool v Brondby

on BBC One London

Live coverage from Anfield of Liverpool's Uefa Cup second round, second leg tie against Danish side Brondby.

After a measured performance which earned them a goalless draw in Denmark two weeks ago Roy Evans's side will book their place in the last 16 if they overcome the Danes. Brondby finished second in the Danish league last season and have already come through two rounds for the right to meet Liverpool. They were beaten by Arsenal at this stage of the Cup Winners' Cup last season, but did score twice in the away leg.

Plus, news of tonight's other Uefa Cup action, including the ties in which PSV Eindhoven are 5-3 upon Leeds United and Nottingham Forest head Auxerre by 1-0.
Introduced by Desmond Lynam, with Alan Hansen and Jimmy Hill. Commentary by John Motson, with Trevor Brooking. (Stereo)
