Did David Stillman murder tha leader of the World Peace Movement? Was he really just a cost accountant, and how did he come to be in New York anyway? Gregory Peck gradually solves the mystery of his own Identity in this tense and skilfully contrived thriller.

Mirage was one of a batch of successful fast-moving thrillers in the mid-sixties. Gregory Peck also starred in Arabesque while Walter Matthau and George Kennedy were memorable bad guys in Charade.
