Between the Ears: My Month with Cancer

on BBC Radio 3

Writer and director Lou Stein's "sound diary" draws on a month spent with his dying mother. Against the Kafkaesque background of a hospital ward it tells of a son's inner experience at his mother's bedside during her battle with cancer.

Excerpts from CS Lewis's "A Grief Observed" read by Julian Glover.
