Last in a series of films each made by a different European country and profiling six different architects.
Norway: Arne Henriksen. Henriksen designs railway stations, waiting rooms, platform shelters, signal boxes and his 'masterpiece' - an enormous engine shed nearly 400m long. Far from being merely utilitarian sheds, his buildings are shaped by the most exotic influences - the architecture of ancient China, Greece, Mexico, the drawings of Leonardo da Vinci, the work of Italian architect Aldo Rossi , as well as the traditional designs of his native Norway.
Narrated by Patrick Malahide. Director Sven Erik Helgesen
