Dr. and Mrs. Dale discussed their holiday plans and decided to take the car and tour France. Mrs. Freeman suggested that Sally should come to stay Virginia Lodge so that Mr. Fulton would not unduly influence her decisions concerning the shop. Gwen also had difficulty with Mr. Fulton. He was so preocupied with the shop that he completely neglected his own work. Mollie and Geoff went to stay for the weekend with Geoff's relatives. When she came back Mollie told Mrs. Dale that Geoff had been promoted and was being transferred to Marble Health which was quite near Parkwood H 11. Sally went to a Cocktail party given by Maud French. She met a charming American who was obviously very attracted to her.
