Sunset Song by LEWIS GRASSIC GIBBON adapted for radio by JOHN WILSON
This shortened version of Grassic Gibbon 's famous novel is seen through the eyes of Chris. She tells of the Howe of Mearns in north-east Scotland in the years before and during the First World War; of her love for Ewan and their sad happiness together in a world that was to disappear for good.
