'The Red Planet'
Episode 8 with David Jacobs
Music composed and conducted by Van Phillips Written and produced by Charles Chilton
Whitaker is dead; and, in dying, his body transformed from that of a young man into an old one. After the Discovery, now manned by only Lemmy and Jet, and Freighter No. 6, now manned by Mitch and Doc, had rejoined the rest of the Fleet, Jet played through the recording tapes he had found strewn over the floor of Whitaker's ship. However, there was nothing on them to give any clue as to why Peterson had attacked Whitaker and then, apparently, committed suicide by letting himself out of the freighter. And then, Jet and Lemmv were startled by Peterson's voice coming over the radio.
