After all the training, grooming and polishing, the 90 competitors arrive at Sandringham for the 1983 Norwich Union Horse Driving Trials. Follow some of them through this spectacular three-day event, HRH THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH is playing on his home ground - but can he beat his arch rival GEORGE BOWMAN ? KAREN BASSETT , at 19, has already twice been national pony teams champion. While Suffolk blacksmith ANDY MILLS, a keen newcomer to the sport, will be happy just to finish the course.
